TERMS AND CONDITIONS

WATCH CONDITION: Unless otherwise stated, all watches have been recently serviced by me and adjusted to keep the best possible time when worn, given the age and quality of the watch. Unlike other sellers of vintage watches on the internet, I do not offer watches for sale with the disclaimer that they may still need servicing. My service parts and labor is reflected in the price of the watch. Depending on the frequency of wear and the dust/water resistance of the watch, you should expect at least two years from any vintage watch I sell before service is required. I do my best to provide detailed images and to describe the condition of every watch for sale, but please feel free to ask questions.

PURCHASES AND PAYMENT TERMS: Please email me at matt@thewatchtech.com with any inquiries or to purchase watch(es) I have listed for sale. Upon receipt of your email, I will calculate shipping costs and reserve the watch(es) for you until payment is received. I accept money orders, personal checks and payment through PayPal. I will ship within 24 hours if payment is made by a United States Postal Money Order or by PayPal. For new customers, I will wait for a personal check to clear before shipping the watch, which usually takes 7 to 10 days.

SHIPPING: I prefer to ship by insured USPS Priority Mail within the Continental United States, which typically costs about $8.00. I can ship by any number of USPS methods outside the US. Please contact me with your address and any other shipping preferences and I will calculate shipping costs.

WARRANTY: Unless otherwise stated, watches have a six-month (180-day) warranty on the movement. I make every effort to ensure that every vintage mechanical watch will keep time to within 20 seconds per day when worn, although most will keep better time than that. The quality and age of the movement are factors in the ability of a mechanical watch to keep time. Few vintage or antique watches are capable of keeping time comparable to that of a modern mechanical watch, without investing an inordinate amount of time and parts.

RETURNS: The WatchTech has a seven (7) day return policy with full refund (less shipping costs) unless other arrangements are made. Returns must be pre-approved by e-mail. The watch must be returned in the same condition as it was sent.
